The first match, a Group ‘A’ encounter, played at Field No. 2 saw HEC beating Sindh 3-0. The goals were scored by Madiha Latif (21st minute), Naushaba (31st min) and Tahreem (58th min).  The other match between Balochistan United and NWFP in Group ‘C’ was won by the former 5-0. Riffat Mehdi (18th and 44th mins) and Shahida Ghulam Raza (39th and 53rd mins) scored two goals each while Shaista Laghari contributed one, in the match’s first goal, in the ninth minute.
