National Women Football Club C’ship begins

The National Women Football Club Championship (Karachi Phase) exploded into action on Monday when Karachi Kickers bulldozed Sindh Soccerites 7-0 in Group-A at Korangi Baloch Stadium. The Group-A clash saw Karachi 4-0 up at interval and added three more in the second session, said the information made available here.
The highlight of the match was a sparkling hat-trick by striker Erum who struck four gaols for an outstanding performance. Erum was too speedy for Soccerities defenders and skipper/goal keeper Farah Tayyaba. Her goals emerged in the 10th, 16th, 45th and 56th minutes. Midfielder Reema, wing full back Tarmina and winger Nuzhat were other scorers in 5th, 22nd minute and 63rd minute respectively. Two-goal Fakhra was the star performer in Peshawar FC’s 3-1 win over United FC in Group-D (Pool-I) at Frontier Women College, Peshawar.
